Ne-Yo is a busy man. The hitmaker is going on tour with Alicia Keys and Jordin Sparks to promote his platinum sophomore album, Because of You, and thinking up a theme for his third album. Still, he finds time to craft future hits for other artists. One such artist is Lindsay Lohan.

-

The actress/pop star is looking to follow-up her 2005 album, A Little More Personal (Raw), with a dance album she describes as “Kylie Minogue meets Rihanna.” USA Today reports Ne-Yo will help with writing and production on her first Motown Records release. -

Don’t act like you never caught yourself dancing to Rumors or belting Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father) . Hey, if it keeps her sober I say good luck, Linds!

After many delays, Usher is finally ready to come back and release the highly anticipated follow-up to his 2004 mega-smash Confessions with a new album titled Here I stand dropping in June, Billboard.com reports.  The announcement comes just as the Polow Da Don produced first single, Love in This Club ft Young Jeezy, rockets 51-1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart.

-

Look for the album to include collaborations with Jermaine Dupri, Ne-Yo, Nelly, Ludacris and Timbaland.

Speaking of Ludacris, ya boy Chris Bridges recently spoke to BET’s Black Carpet about releasing his sixth album called Theatre of The Mind. Luda says every track on the album will play out like a movie. The first single should drop around May with the album following around August.

Michelle Williams

And finally, Michelle Williams wrapped up playing the role of Shug Avery in the touring production of The Color Purple this weekend in Los Angeles.  Now she is focusing on her third solo album.

-

Michelle, rocking a new shoulder length hair-do, revealed exclusively to Neon Limelight that she is leaning towards releasing the addictive, pulsating track Break the Dawn as the first single for the untiltled album coming this summer instead of Stop This Car. We posted the snippet of Break the Dawn last month. Remember, you heard it here first!
