Michael Jackson’s dear Neverland Ranch was just days away from being put on the auction block. But thankfully, according to MJ’s lawyer L. Londell McMillan, Michael was able to reach a “confidential” agreement with Fortress Investment Group, LLC.  A source close to MJ told the Associated Press it is not known whether or not Michael will keep Neverland–he hasn’t lived there since fleeing the state of Cali after being cleared of child molestation in 2005.

The King of Pop’s palace is safe but the Queen of Soul’s is not.

Aretha Franklin’s Detroit mansion was sent into foreclosure after an attorney’s mistake left the singer owing $445 in back taxes and late fees from 2005. In all, Franklin owes $19,192 in back taxes through 2007, but the foreclosure judgement is based on the $445 alone.

I’m sure Aretha will work this out. She spends more than that on those XXXXXXXXXXXL push-up bras.
