//Michelle Williams Is ‘Unexpected’ This Summer//
Singer/Actress Michelle Williams, one-third of the now disbanded best-selling female group Destiny’s Child, is set to release her third solo album, Unexpected, this August on Music World Entertainment/Columbia Records. MWE CEO Mathew Knowles decribes the album as “a pop and dance album, but don’t call it dance.”

Williams first made her solo jump in 2002 with the release of a gospel album called Heart to Yours. The album featured collaborations with Carl Thomas and Shirley Ceaser. Her second solo album, an inspirational/R&B disc, Do You Know followed in 2004.

Unexpected will be Michelle’s first official attempt at cracking the mainstream market as a solo artist. Williams and company lined up a dream-team of producers to help ensure the album’s success including Rico Love, the Heavyweights, Wayne Wilkins, Andrew Frampton, SoulShock & Karl, and Norwegian superproducers Stargate who work their magic on the set’s second single, Stop This Car.
