Mos Def will join the cast of the upcoming movie Cadillac Record playing legendary Rock & Roll singer Chuck Berry.

The cast already includes Beyoncé, Cedric the Entertainer, Adrien Brody, Jefferey Wright, Columbus Short and the recently added Gabrielle Union.

Cadillac Records will reunite Mos Def with Beyoncé for their first movie together since 2001’s Oscar-snubbed Carmen: A Hip Hopera. That movie was deep! Mos totally shot Beyoncé at the end of the movie.
