Rumors have pounded Beyoncé and Jay-Z for years over the status of their relationship. Are they engaged? Are they getting married? Are they already married? Will Beyoncé be giving birth to a baby ROC (it’s the pebble!)?

People.com has learned from an unnamed source (suuuuuuuuuspect!) that Bey and Jay have taken out a marriage license today in NY. The license is good for 60 days. Jay-Z’s rep could not be reached for comment and Beyoncé’s rep replied with, “No comment.”

File this under the best damn April Fools joke ever. But seriously, if they are going to put the license to use, congratulation to the two.

come on.. stop hating on jay-z.. their baby will be damn cute! you see beautiful couples having not so beautiful babies, so for all you know, jay and beyonce’s kid could be damn good looking.. it could be a good april fool’s joke, but why go through all of that filing for a marriage license and not use it? i feel like it’s not like them to stretch that far, especially since they’re such a private couple.. they wouldn’t do something just to do it for the public.. i hope they did get married.. i love them!!
