I will get around to making a full post about the awards but my extremely biased heart thought this lovely man deserved his own post. One of my all time favorite American Idol contestants, Elliott Yamin (tied only with Latoya London and winner Fantasia), was snapped in some sweet pics with his girlfriend on the red carpet at the ASCAP Pop Awards last night in LA. The honey-voiced soul singer also performed.

It’s so good to see Elliott out and about after the passing of his dear mother, Claudette, last week.

Elliott is such an amazingly beautiful, genuine soul with a voice (especially when heard live) that sends chills down your spine. He is the real deal, and is such a wonderful role model for today’s youth. The E-train family loves ya E!! xo

The photo’s are exciting, and they are a beautiful couple.It is so refreshing, to see Elliott Yamin, finally getting the recognition, he so deserves. This man has such a “distinct & beautiful voice”. I love hearing his songs on the radio! His voice is liquid gold! Seeing Elliott Live, is the most magical experience. Sincere blessing to him, and his family, for the loss of his mother, Claudette.

What a thrill to see Elliot Yamin so successful - he has THE BEST voice on AmId thus far. NOBODY can do Stevie Wonder songs like he can — so much soul & control needed there.. EY knocks it out of the park.
