Cassie is making a return to music after a break of nearly a year. The model/”singer” found success with her debut single, “Me & U” in 2006. It topped the R&B/Hip Hop charts and peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album, however, failed to go gold.

Now Cassie is back with her first single from her untitled sophomore album called “Official Girl.” The track was produced by Danja and written by The Clutch. Diddy recently spoke out about Cassie’s growth and if this song is any indication, he may be partially right. Cassie has definitely stepped her game up, but she won’t be having sing-offs with Jennifer Hudson or even Rihanna any day soon. The production on this joint is fiyah though!
