Bad news all you Raven Symone, B5 and Mitchel Musso fans. Raven has decided to postpone her upcoming tour. This news comes just one week before its scheduled kick off in Orlando, Florida. The following message was posted on her #1 fansite:

“Raven-Symone has postponed her upcoming tour due to unforeseen circumstances. Raven-Symone apologizes to her fans for any inconvenience this may have caused and ticket refunds will be available from the original point of purchase.”

Plans for her album hasn’t changed as of yet. Her self titled album hits stores April 29th. Hope all is well with her!

 

Back in the 90’s, I was obsessed with Soul Train. So my inner child was pumped to find out they are actually working on a movie of the 30 plus year old series. When I read the details, my inner child shuddered with embarrassment. This sounds like a freakin joke! Here’s what show creator, Don Cornelius, had to say about to project:

 

The project, currently called “Soul Train: The Movie,” revolves around two male dancers on the show who get into “a lot of good stuff and some bad stuff as well,” said Cornelius, who will serve as a producer.

 

It features “lots of music, lots of comedy,” he added, as well as “a little bit of violence.” He also promised it would be “more than slightly sensual.”

 

“‘Soul Train’ has always been about sexuality,” Cornelius said. “It’s almost never been about guys, and almost always about girls. It’s what has kept us afloat for these three decades or so.” [Source]

We’re going to end our self imposed Britney Spears ban to bring some positive news about the pop star. According to People.com, Britney will be returning to the popular CBS series “How I Met Your Mother”.

 

Sources tell People the singer will reprise her role for an additional episode and both parties couldn’t be happier about it.

 

“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” a source said. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.” [Source]

Brit’s guest spot aired in March giving the show a nice ratings boost.
