Ok, so I didn’t really care to much for Carly Smithson‘s banshee screams or affected Celine Dion pronunciation, but I was still outraged when Carly got the boot on last week’s Idol. This has got to be the lamest mix of final 5 contestants ever.

Estelle celebrated the US release of her album Shine with a private dinner at Bette in NYC last night. Notables at the dinner were Anthony Anderson and her boss, John Legend.
