Season 5 of American Idol was swarming with talent (and I mean real talent, not like this mess of a current season). In one season we had that country singin’, aw shucks-in’ Kellie Pickler, Billboard chart blazer Chris Daughtry, incredible soul-singin’ Elliott Yamin, and spastic dancer but soul quivering singer and winner Taylor Hicks(I don’t care how disappointing the sales of his album was, he’s immensely talented). But let’s not forget about that rosey-cheeked, gorgeous melting hot piece of man meat that sent hundreds of thongs and bloomers racing towards the tv screens when he performed Michael Jackson’s “Butterflies,” Ace Young.
Ace hasn’t been completely silent since being voted off Idol 2 years ago. He helped co-write several songs on pal Chris Daughtry’s monster debut album. He earned a Grammy nomination for co-writing on Daughtry’s “It’s Not Over,” proving he’s not just a pretty face. Now he’s trying to make a name for himself. Here’s the video for his first single, “Addicted.” The video is dark and sexy for this genre-mixing track. Check it!
Ace’s debut album hits stores July 15th.
