Several reports confirm that Ashlee Simpson and her Fall Out Boy-friend Pete Wentz have tied the knot. The couple were married last night in an intimate ceremony in front of 150 guests at Simpson’s parent’s LA home.
Ashlee’s father, Joe Simpson, performed the ceremony; big sister, Jessica Simpson, served as the maid of honor, while Pete’s English bulldog, Hemingway, performed the duties of the ring-bearer (….ok).
The reception had an Alice in Wonderland theme with the wedding cake having a top hat, tea pot, pot of flowers and stop watch decorations on top.
A spokesperson for the couple told People.com:
“We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends,”
Ash is said to have worn an ivory colored lace gown. Good look for Ashlee not wearing white–especially since sources from US Weekly to People magazine are sticking to their stories about the couple expecting their first child together later this year. I’m sure the confirmation from the couple will come any day now.
