Rumors have been flying that Rihanna is planning on recording a duet with “very close friend” Chris Brown. A source told Star magazine (I know, huh?) that Rih wants former Def Jam label-head and mentor Jay-Z involved in picking the a hot beat for the two to get their “Crazy In Love” on.
“Rihanna is impressed with Chris’ voice. It was a natural step for her to say, ‘Let’s do a duet.’
“She’s asking Jay-Z to look around for a beat for the two of them, something sexy and snazzy.” [Source]
Even though the report was first made public by the sketchy Star magazine, it’s looking like it could be at least half-way true as pics of the pair in the studio recently hit the internet this week. But it could just be another case of “friends” having fun hanging out–there are no pics of them actually working on something. You be the judge!
