Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz bundle of joy to come is probably one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood. Everybody and their kitten-headed grandma has been talking about the pregnancy except for the pair, but they’ve finally confirmed what everyone knows already:
“While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child,” read a statement Wednesday on Wentz’s blog. “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”[Source]
I respect that! So much could happen in the first trimester. If you’re going to make an announcement, might as well wait until things are relatively safe.
