//Mixed Bits: Toni Braxton’s Vegas Show Cancelled, Sean Levert’s Death Ruled ‘Natural’//

The curtains are closing early for Toni Braxton‘s Las Vegas show at the Flamingo. The 40-year-old singer cancelled several shows after falling ill with chest pains in April, but she was to return to the stage June 6th. However, her health issues persist and Braxton has cancelled the rest of her Vegas run to focus on rehabilitation. “Toni Braxton: Revealed” was scheduled to run until August.

A spokes woman for Harrah’s Entertainment, the company responsible for producing Toni’s show, could not speak about Braxton’s condition, but Toni has suffered from pericarditis in the past.

We wish Toni a speedy recovery.

A coroner’s report recently released for the death of 39-year-old LeVert singer Sean Levert has ruled out any trauma or foul play insisting he died of natural causes after being taken to a hospital shortly after falling ill in his Cuyahoga County jail cell.

His family, however, believe his death could have been prevented had he been allowed to see a doctor earlier and was given his anti-anxiety medication; the warden put Levert on watch, claiming he was acting strangely before becoming ill.

Levert’s widow, Angela Lowe, released a statement after the report’s release:

“Sean was loved by many and both his family and fans are saddened beyond comprehension. Sean Levert did not die as a result of illegal drug usage.”

It seems like the jail let his major health issue fall through the cracks. May he rest in peace.
