More huge names are being added to perform at the 2008 BET Awards going down live on June 24th. Among the biggest and probably most unexpected is the newlywed Beyonce. Usher is opening the show and, though still unconfirmed, he will apparently be joined by Mrs. Jay-Z and Lil Wayne to perform “Love In This Club Part 2.” Lil Wayne let the deets slip past his lips in between sips of that sizzurp at a recent radio interview.
Others now confirmed to take the stage include Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Young Jeezy, Rihanna, and Chris Brown. The awards will be hosted by D.L. Hughley.

Taylor Swift is taking a trip to Montana–Hannah Montana that is. The country starlet will appear in the Hannah Montana movie, setting the box office on fire in 2009. She told People.com all about her role:
“I’m making a cameo,” says the 18-year-old, “so I’m so excited about that. I’m playing one of my own songs and just in the background of one of the scenes.”
Although one of country’s hottest new stars, Swift doesn’t mind sharing the spotlight in the Disney feature. “I’m just like the bar band, which is kinda fun.”
Expressing her anticipation, Swift adds, “I’m just really excited about it because it’s really cool when some of my little fans will come up with a Hannah Montana shirt on, and I want to be like, ‘Guess what? I get to be in that movie with her!’ “
Filming is talking place in Nashville now. I’m sure Taylor will do some major acting on her own very soon!
