A Milli is right. Lil Wayne has millions in the bank and he can also push a million copies of his album in one week. Weezy’s “Tha Carter III” debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 selling a whopping 1 million copies in its debut week.
It easily crushes the best sales week so far this year (Mariah Carey’s “E=MC²” sold 463,000 copies in its first week) and becomes the first album to push 1mil in one week since 50 Cent pulled off the feat in 2005 with “The Massacre.”
Well, congrats to Weezy! I wonder how much his collaborative album with T-Pain will sell.
