Fashion Notes: BET Awards Edition – Dryness

What’s an awards show recap without a best and worst dressed list? Around these parts it’s called Fashion Notes and you’re either “super moist” or “ultra dry.” I don’t think I need to tell you which is good or bad. Who likes to be ultra dry?

Well, some stars obviously do because Jergens’ Shea Butter and Oatmeal lotion was desperately needed last night. I really felt bad for throwing two of these girls under the water.

I adore Solange, I really do, but walking the red carpet looking like your wig got blown off when you got out the limo and you put it on just in time to take a pic is NOT the business.

Keri Hilson, absolutely gorgeous girl, great singer, even better songwriter, dry red carpet walker. She took it back to Solid Gold with this get-up.

Now Lil Mama I didn’t feel bad about. Homegirl is always a mess and she made sure she was consistant last night. This Strawberry Shortcake foolishness is enough to make your life bleed out through your eyeballs.

Oh and don’t think I forgot about the men. Chris Brown and Musiq Soulchild are both on my sh!t list. Sleepy mohawks are NOT, I repeat, NOT hot. It looks like the hair is running away from these dudes cus even they’re embarrassed to be seen with them.

Pour some hot oil on these babies; lotion won’t do.
