//Blog Round-Up: Kanye West Talks About Bonnaroo Delay; Michelle Williams Talks About BET Mix-Up//

Kanye is pissed off! Weeks after his delayed performance at the Bonnaroo Festival, West is speaking out on the harsh criticism. West was scheduled to take the stage at 2:45am but went on at 4:25am. Needless to say this left the fans who had stayed up for hours to see him performance a bit peeved.

Kanye, however, insists the delay was not his fault but the an issue with organizers trying to figure out how to set up his elaborate staging. Pearl Jam’s set also ended later than expected.

He took to his blog to let the haters have it (the caps are ridiculous so prepare your eyes):

I am  sick of negative  people who just sit around trying 2 plot my downfall… Why????  I understand if people don’t like me because I like me or if people think tight clothes look gay or people say I run my mouth to much,  But this Bonnaroo thing is the worst insult I’ve ever had in my life. This is the most offended I’ve ever been… this is the maddest I ever will be.  I’m typing so fucking hard I might break my fucking Mac book Air!!!!!!!!   Call me any name you want…. arrogant, conceited, narcissistic, racist, metro, fag whatever you can think of….  BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN’T GIVE MY ALL!   NEVER SAY I DIDN’T GIVE MY ALL! 

THIS SHOWS NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY  TO BE GOOD AT SOMETHING THERE WILL BE PEOPLE THERE TO LIE ABOUT YOU AND BRING YOU DOWN!  LIKE WAYNE SAYS PLEASE DON’T SHOOT ME DOWN CAUSE I’M FLYING!  I’M FUCKING HURT BY THIS ONE. ALL I CARE ABOUT ARE THE FANS.  JUST SAY THIS OUT LOUD IN  A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE, “KANYE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT GIVING A GOOD PERFORMANCE.”  CAN ANYONE HONESTLY SAY THAT ?????????      HAS ANYONE EVEN TAKEN THE TIME TO AT LEAST  DO THE MATH???  BONNAROO SHOULD HAVE RELEASED A STATEMENT IN MY DEFENSE BUT SINCE THEY HAVEN’T LET’S BREAK DOWN THE WALLS ON THIS TRUMAN SHOW AND LET YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY OCCURRED!!!  

FOR OVER A MONTH WE WENT BACK AND FORTH ON WETHER OR NOT WE COULD EVEN FIT MY STAGE AT THE FESTIVAL. ONE DAY THEY WOULD SAY YES… WE’D SEND THEM OUR SPECS THEN THEY THEY’D SAY OK… THEN THEY WOULD SEND SPECS BACK THAT DIDN’T FIT THE STAGE. WE WERE OBVIOUSLY DEALING WITH FUCKING IDIOTS WHO DIDN’T REALLY HAVE THE CAPACITY TO REALLY PUT ON THIS SHOW PROPERLY.  THEY TRIED 2 GIVE ME A TIME SLOT WERE IT WAS STILL LIGHT OUTSIDE … I HAVE A FUCKING LIGHT SHOW DUMB ASS, IT’S NOT CALLED GLOW IN THE DARK FOR NO REASON SQUID BRAINS!  MY PEOPLE WORKED OUT A COMPROMISED STAGE PLOT AND A 3AM TIME SLOT AND I AGREED.   FAST FOWARD TO THE DAY OF THE SHOW. MY PRODUCTION MANAGER TRIED TO LOAD IN FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE I WENT ON STAGE BUT THE FESTIVAL WOULDN’T ALLOW US TO DO ANYTHING UNTILL PEARL JAM LEFT THE STAGE. PEARL JAM ENDED ONE HOUR  
LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT THAT POINT WE’RE RACING AGAINST THE SUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AT 4:20AM DON COMES BACK 2 THE BUS AND TELLS ME, ” IT  WOULD TAKE 45 MORE MINUTES TO PUT ALL YOUR PYRO IN!”  I SAY I HAVE TO GET OUT THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE . I HIT THE STAGE AND PEOPLE HAD BEEN THROWING SHIT ON THE STAGE AND HAD ACTUALLY HIT THE JANE SCREEN WITH, I GUESS BOTTLES OR SOMETHING AND HAD BROKEN MY FUCKING SCREEN.  REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE A SHORTY AND WATER WOULD HIT THE TV ??????  WHEN I GOT 2 “THROUGH THE WIRE” I STEPPED ON  THE FRONT PART OF MY STAGE AND THERE WAS SO MUCH LIQUID ON THE STAGE  I COULDN’T MOVE WITHOUT SLIPPING. I HAD TO ADJUST MY WHOLE PERFORMANCE STYLE BECAUSE OF IT.  A FEW MORE SONGS IN AND THE SONG WAS ON IT’S WAY UP.. I  CUT A FEW SONGS FROM THE SET BECAUSE  I  WANTED PEOPLE 2 EXPERIENCE STRONGER WHILE THERE WAS STILL SOME DARKNESS TO PERFORM IT IN.  I’VE STRUGGLED WITH STRONGER FROM IT’S   CONCEPTION. REMEMBER LAST SUMMER WHEN I CANCELED SOME TV APPEARANCES.  IT WAS BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT TO PERFORM STRONGER IN THE DAYTIME.  ANYONE WHO CAME TO THE GLOW TOUR CAN UNDERSTAND WHY I WANTED PEOPLE TO SEE IT PROPERLY. IT BROKE MY HEART THAT I COULDN’T GIVE THESE FANS STRONGER IN IT’S GREATEST FORM…

BY THE TIME I GOT TO STRONGER IT WAS DAYTIME AND IT BROKE MY HEART.  I’M SORRY TO EVERYONE THAT I DIDN’T HAVE THE ABILITY 2 GIVE THE PERFORMANCE I WANTED TO. I’M SORRY…  SOMETIMES I GO 2, 3 DAYS W/O SLEEP WORKING ON MY PERFORMANCE… I HAVE TO ICE MY KNEES AFTER EVERY SHOW AND THEY HURT WHEN I WALK THROUGH THE AIRPORT… HAVING AN EXPENSIVE STAGE CUTS MY PAYDAY IN HALF… CALL ME WHAT YOU WANT BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN’T GIVE MY ALL! !!

I gotta agree with my man Yeezy. He is probably all the things he listed but he definitely gives his shows his all.

Michelle Williams is on her campaign to get a number one album (let’s shoot for number two because Jonas Brothers’ new album also comes out August 12th and we know where that is going to debut). While updating the fans about her appearance on TRL, Michelle also mentioned the politics of getting her video added to the rotation over at BET. The blog in question has since been conveniently edited but fans were steaming mad when Michelle wrote something about new single “We Break The Dawn” not being urban enough. Fans ran with those words and ignored the fact that in the same blog post, Michelle mentioned hosting two days of BET Now (but let’s face it, who really watches that show? It’s on during work hours. DOY!).

Now Michelle wants to clear the air because it seems like the mix-up left things pretty choppy at campaign headquarters:

Hi beautiful people!!!!! It’s been a minute since I’ve done a blog whether video or written!!!

I can’t believe the foolishness that has arised bcuz of my last blog. I lost the inspiration to blog! Just for a hot second though!! It just took the wind out of me bcuz something was taken the wrong way!!

I NEVER meant to imply that BET rejected my video.

AGAIN I will say that the statement did not come from BET!!! I was very angry while doing my blog and probably should have kept it to myself but so many of you guys were asking why I hadn’t been to the network yet!! At the same time in the blog I did say that I hosted two days of BET NOW and that my video would be played on that show!! Would I love to have gone on 106 and Park…..ABSOLUTELY!!! I hate when an artist has to police what comes out of their mouths bcuz they are later crucified for speaking their minds or for repeating something that has been said to them over and over again!!! All I wanna do is sing and show the world that I have a great album and want everybody to enjoy it!!! Advice to any upcoming artists…..YOU GOTTA LOVE IT AND KNOW THE BUSINESS FOR YOURSELf!!! UNDERSTAND THE GAME AND PLAY IT WELL!!!!!! It took me a lonnnnnnnng time to get it!!! I’m still learning but now nobody can just sell me something that I know aint right!!!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE you guys and I thank you for having my back!!! There’s so much more that I wanna say but I better not!!!!! I will post another video blog soon but I’m not in a chipper mood and it would probably bore you!!!!! Y’all have been the absolute BEST and thanks again for the LOVE!!!!!!! Okay guys!!! God has been really good to me!!! I just thought about all the things that I’ve been blessed with thus far!! I’m healthy and blessed to share my music to the world!! My family and friends LOVE me!!! So what am I so upset about!!!!?? What am I so aggravated about????? I can’t believe that I got so upset about all of this!! As i shared before in a video blog….”when u complain about what you don’t have, then you won’t have!!!!!” Let’s all be thankful and grateful for what we have now!!! BUT never be content and settle!!!!! I just wanted to share that with you guys!! Thank y’all for letting me vent and be a spoiled brat for five minutes!! LOL!!!!!! I feel a lot better!!!!

Michelle losing the inspiration to blog would be a tragedy at Neon Limelight. We just love her overexcited blogs. “ANYHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Yup, we’re Michelle Williams Campaigners, and!?

Michelle may not want to burn bridges but we all know until the video for the Flo Rida remix is made, “We Break The Dawn” will have trouble getting regular rotation on BET. Rihanna, anyone?
