I. Can. Not. Take. It!!! I know it is wrong to wish for a song to leak. Artists work very hard writing, producing, and mastering their music. They want it to stay a secret until it is played while you’re listening to the entire album they worked so hard to put together. I understand that. I even respect than. But Ne-Yo has been teasing me for months by performing only a snippet of “So You Can Cry,” a gorgeous mid-tempo jam about Shaffer not falling for a female friend in a “woe is me” mood.
Well, the song did leak and because I am a certified stan, it does not change my stance on buying his album, Year of the Gentleman, when it comes out September 16. If anything, it’s made me more sure that I NEED it. It’ll do the same for you, too. Trust. There is nothing bad about this song. Check it!!!
