Early mornings and a rescheduled performance (thanks Hurricane Gustav) did not keep Ne-Yo down this morning as he performed his hit single “Closer” on the Today show. He worked the stage in his Gucci suit like it was 7pm and not 7am. This, my friends, is why Ne-Yo is the freakin’ king. His album Year of the Gentleman will finally be in stores September 16.
