Dry your eyes sad Hannah Montana fans! Take that Miley Cyrus haters! The 16 year old Pop diva in training has spoken out against internet rumors claiming her and papi, Billy Ray Cyrus, were so over the blond sitcom character that started it all for the teeny bopper and dusted off the eldest Cyrus’ achy breaky career.
In a statement released earlier today, Miley told People.com that she is fully committed to the show and realizes that the show has given her the opportunity to do what she loves. A far cry from internet reports saying she would like to focus more time on the music end of things.
Disney spokesperson, Patti McTeague, echoes Miley’s sentiments, telling Reuters the rumors are “pure gossip,” and that the show has an option to go on for a 4th season. So much Hannah to come! Sweet niblets! Look out for the Hannah Montana movie this Spring.

Good news for Christina Milian. According to Billboard, the singer has landed a new rercording deal with Myspace Records. The social networking giant will release Milian’s new album this spring and premiere it’s first single, Up Against The World, October 7th.
Christina is thrilled about the match saying:
Before, I had a label telling me what direction to go in. Now, it’s my choice, so I’m being very particular about it and I’m really excited [SOURCE]
Christina was dropped from Def Jam amidst poor album sales for her 2006 album, So Amazin. Other acts with Myspace Records include Meiko and Kate Voegele.
