Rising R&B star Ciara is hard at work on her third album, Fantasy Ride, being released at the end of the year. She took to her myspace blog to update her fans on the progress of the album, the video shoot for her first single from the set, “Go Girl,” and to talk about her hawt cover of Vibe magazine:

The music is coming out amazing! Who, you are in for a treat. I’m executive producing the record along with my good friend and music producer, Tricky stewart. There will be great production from Tricky, Danja, T Pain, Rodney Jerkins, and more!! There are also some new and young producers that I’m excited about. Cant forget the features! Luda and Missy are back again! Jeezy is joining me as well. I can’t wait for u to hear it!
On the “Go Girl” video:
I just shot the video for Go Girl and it was crazy! All My Go Girls, stand up! Melina directed it and of course Jamaica got busy on the choreography! I added a little two cents:) but Jam Session(jamaica) layed it down on the steps. Talk about some Go Girls: Melina(director) Jamaica(choreographer) Yolanda(make Up) Kiyah(hair) all the ladies put it down. Go Girls in the house!!:) You will see it shortly!

I know that there has been a lot of talk about the vibe magazine and this will be my last time talking about it.
When vibe presented the idea to me, I was excited about trying something different and doing something Artistic. The body is beautiful, and I wanted to celebrate it. I’m at a point to whereas I’m shedding old layers of my life and the new layers are surfacing. So much has changed for me especially as a young woman and I wanted to express that. There was talk about me being upset about the shoot. When I look at the photos, I do think they are beautiful photos and I am proud of my body, I was bothered because I did indeed have on items that were removed.
I know that it was vibes mission to do something beautiful and to present me in a nice light I just think it would have been appropriate for them to get my approval to do such a thing before doing it.. I don’t want this to keep going; I just wanted to talk to u guys before I went totally silent on this topic.
