//Kanye West Pushes Up Release Date For New Album//

Kanye in the studio with Young Jeezy

Looks like you can get your 808s and Heartbreak a lot sooner than you were expecting. Kanye West‘s new album was originally slated for a December 16 release but the rapper will be pushing the release up to sometime in November according to the latest post on his blog. Could it be he was afraid 50 Cent would win in their December album battle? Doubt it. Instead, he says he is pushing it up because the album is done and he “felt like it.”

There’s no shortage of people wanting to hear what Ye has in store on 808s. If the response from first single, Love Lockdown, is any indication, West could be in for another blockbuster first week. Love Lockdown quickly shot to #1 on iTunes shortly after it was released. It will debut at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 tomorrow according to Billboard on the strength of 213,000 downloads.

The exact date of release for 808s has not been set.

Could a Beyoncé/Kanye showdown be in the works? Bey’s new album will be released on November 18.
