Remember PopStars? You know, the WB’s precursor to American Idol. You ‘member, ‘member? In season one a bunch of female singers fought it out to join a five-piece singing/dancing/sexying machine to rival the Spice Girls called Eden’s Crush. One of those girls just so happened to be Nicole Scherzinger.
The group released their self-titled album in 2001 and it did pretty well, peaking at #6 on the Billboard 200. But, sadly, the group dissolved a year later amidst rumors of infighting.
Nicole went on to become the lead singer of Pussycat Dolls. The group just released their sophomore album of sexy “go-girl” tunes called Doll Domination this week.
It’s only fitting we take a look back at where we first met the raven-haired beauty named Nicole.
