Soul music is having a great season. One of soul’s brightest new stars, Jazmine Sullivan, is proving why Philly is the breeding ground for the best in soul. Her debut album, Fearless, just entered the Billboard 200 at #3 after selling 66,000 copies in its first week out. Pretty damn good!

Miss Sullivan performed her first single, “Need U Bad,” on Jay Leno a couple nights ago. The song topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs chart a couple weeks back and remains in the top 5. Do it, Jaz!
