//Alicia Keys, Coldplay And Colbie Caillat Set To Re-Release Albums This November//

Ahh, album re-releases. Some of us hate them, some of us…tolerate them. Either way, it’s something the music industry banks on when a project is taking off late, slowing down after starting big, or needs a shot of life after having never took off. Add three more albums to that list this November as Alicia Keys, Coldplay, and Colbie Caillat offer up deluxe editions of their platinum-plus albums.
Alicia Keys – As I Am – November 3: According to Entertainment Weekly, the piano tinkling queen will rerelease her multi-platinum 2007 blockbuster As I am with three additional songs: the Jack White duet for the new James Bond flick “Another Way to Die,” ‘‘Doncha Know (Sky Is Blue),” and ”Saviour.”
Coldplay – Viva la Vida: The Prospekt’s March Edition – November 25: Coldplay knows how to reissue an album. Not only will they release Viva la Vida as a double cd packed with songs that did not make the first cut, they’ll offer a seperate EP with just the B-Sides so you’ll have a choice to buy the original album or go straight for the bonuses. Now that’s thinking about the consumer! MTV reports that the EP will contain eight new songs, one of which is a remix to “Lost” featuring Chris Martin’s good friend Jay-Z.
Colbie Caillat – CoCo – November 11: Last year’s sleeper hit “Bubbly” by Myspace phenom Colbie Caillat helped her debut album, CoCo, push close to two million units in the US. She’ll reissue the album with eight bonus songs according to Billboard, including some live cover songs from her shows this summer like Dusty Springfield’s “Brand New Me,” Lauryn Hill’s “Tell Him” and Bob Marley’s “Turn Your Lights Down Low.”
