I have a love/hate relationship with Hannah Montana starlet, Miley Cyrus. Her show is annoyingly addictive; that’s love. I’m bored with her love of cheeky myspace pictures; there’s the hate. The hate column got a little longer when I saw Hollywood Records latest YouTube offering of the 15-year-old Cyrus singing her version of Cyndi Lauper‘s classic “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.”
I’m well aware of the fact that Miley recorded a cover of the song for her album, Breakout, and I didn’t mind. Studio magic? Probably! Some songs you should never touch and Miley, my dear, this is one of them for you.
