//Diddy Kicks D.Woods And Aubrey O’Day Out Of Danity Kane//

It’s official. Rumors have been swirling for quite some time that D. Wood and Aubrey O’Day were no longer apart of Danity Kane. Last night, Diddy confirmed the unthinkable, horrible truth on the live season finale of Making the Band 4 (which I totally missed. I’m still mad about that). Of course MTV broke down what happened:

“I would rather be hated every damn day of my life for being real than loved for being something I’m not,” O’Day defiantly told Sway on the special that aired Tuesday night.

Diddy, who spoke to the girls and the audience via satellite, had some advice for tabloid target Aubrey. “Check this out, baby girl,” Diddy said. “See, your attitude is gonna have you in a dark and lonely place. … What you need to do, at the end of the day, is humble yourself.

“I got love for Aubrey. I don’t have any beef with her,” he added. “I just want to work with the young lady that I signed, not the person that fame has made her.”

“I don’t think any of us has been happy for a long time,” admitted D.Woods, who Diddy said had gotten “caught up in the wrath” of Aubrey.

No word on if DK will continue with the three-some of Aundrea, Shannon, and Dawn, but D. Woods plans to continue music as a member of the Girls Club. Aubrey, who has been on Broadway acting in Hairpray, will undoubtedly have success as reality TV “actress” like her pal Kim Kardashian before making the huge leap to primetime TV on Dancing With The Stars in 2010–hey, no disrespect, it’s a good gig.

It’s really sad. I liked DK a lot. It’s also a shame that, unless something big happens, Aundrea (who in my opinion is tied with Dawn for the best voice in the group) will probably disappear into reality TV history. Sad.

Aubrey is crazy disrespectful! …I feel bad for these girls though cause this is going to follow them all throughout there careers now…Diddy was a little off the hook in the bath robe at his hotel

Aubrey got too big for herself, IMO. and the image she was pushing honestly wasn’t what the group represented. she became a selfmade playboy bunny.

however, i liked them all together and it just sux bc i’m tired of seeing girl groups break up!!lol. but i don’t think they should be left as 3. add at least 1 more member…maybe 2..BUT i think it should be another MTB where they pick these members from girls who previously tried out.give them first chance…see what they’ve been up to and if they’ve gotten any better.only one that comes to mind is…Malika…and i think thats only bc she reminded me of someone personally.but yea…

    damnit aubrey!!

  4. Completely agree Meechie! I can’t wait to see what this new season of MTB will be like since theyre going to bring it back. Diddy is gonna find a way to cash in on this. I just know it.
