If you thought Yung Berg’s video blog response to Ne-Yo declaring he would 3-finger slap him for his lack of creativity would spawn a livid reply or diss record from the Miss Independent singer, then you thought wrong. Always the gentleman, Ne-Yo has decided to take the high road saying there will be no back and forth war with the rapper. Ne-Yo told MTV:

“That ain’t my lane, dude. I don’t beef. I don’t do that. That ain’t my thing. I don’t do dis records. I don’t do beef. I don’t do any of that blogs talking about cats. I don’t do that. That ain’t my thing. I’m a grown man. I got money to make.

You got cats out here that are copycatting and doing stuff that’s popular. You know, doing it because that’s what’s in right now, whatever the case may be — but basically what you’re doing is killing music. [SOURCE]

The Gentleman has spoken. We’ll call this beef, squashed!

Danity Kane is sadly down to a trio after the dismissal of Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods but life continues and apparently, so will Making The Band. MTV will extend the successful series into 2009 following the remaining members of DK and their Bad Boy family Day 26 and Donnie Klang. No word on whether the series will include a search for two new members but DK’s Dawn Richard says she smells it coming.

Happy, happy! Joy, joy! Janet Jackson was back on her Rock Witchu tour in Washington D.C. last night after cancelling several dates due to a mystery illness. Her publicist is finally revealing the sickness that sent the Feedback singer to the hospital and put her comeback tour on ice: migraine associated vertigo.  Janet’s manager, Kenneth Crear says “she’s feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour.” Her next stop? East Rutherford, New Jersey!
