//Keri Hilson’s ‘World’ Won’t Be ‘Perfect’ Until 2009//

Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson has seen her debut album, In A Perfect World…, become the subject of constant push-backs. It was originally supposed to come out just before the summer, then this fall, finally in December and now Billboard reports the album won’t be coming out until the first part of 2009. It may come as no surprise to fans who have seen singles like “Energy” and “Return The Favor” featuring Timbaland fail to take off at radio or make a big enough impact in single downloads to be considered hit-worthy enough to propel the album to success.

This one confuses me. Why her singles or Keri as an artist aren’t catching on is beyond me. It’s not a lack of talent–she has a great voice and writes her own songs. It certainly isn’t a lack of hawtness. Could it be she hasn’t carved out a clear image yet? Her latest video is being criticized for borrowing heavily from her R&B/Pop peers like Rihanna and Ciara.

Maybe she needs a spicy-hawt fake relationship to get the attention up. I suggest Gary Coleman. His marriage isn’t going to last and that’s where Keri comes in. Publicity stunt heaven!
