//Rihanna Passes Out During A Performance In Sydney – UPDATED//
On the first night of her two-date concert with Chris Brown in Sydney, Australia, Rihanna suddenly fell ill and was unable to finish performing her hit single “Umbrella/Cinderella” before passing out at the side of the stage, according to attendees.
The 20-year-old superstar began the last song of the night flying into the crowd while singing on a harness as she has done since landing in Australia on the tour [Rihanna flying in happier days]. After landing back on the stage and being joined by Brown, Rihanna clearly looked unwell as she continuously grabbed her stomach while trying to push on through the performance. She walked to the side of the stage signaling her discomfort to staff before doubling over and running off stage where she reportedly fainted. Paramedics were called to tend to her. Brown finished the song, then went straight backstage to be with his unconfirmed girlfriend.
No word on Rihanna’s condition currently, but we’ll keep you posted.
Rihanna has had a grueling schedule since her 2005 debut. She’s put out back to back albums and has toured nonstop over the last 18 months. After wrapping her Australian tour, she will head to the Philippines, the UK, and back to the US for some holiday shows. Her schedule was bound to catch up with her sooner or later.
We wish Rih Rih a speedy recovery and hope she gets the rest she needs and deserves. Corpses are not edgy!!! Take care of yourself, Robyn!

UPDATE: Rihanna lives!! E! Online got this statement from Rihanna’s rep:
“It was very hot at the venue, so after Rihanna’s set was over, she went off stage to sit down, catch her breath and have some water,” her rep tells E! News. “She is perfectly healthy and will be at her show tomorrow.”
Although this statement clearly contradicts the video and reports from show attendees, we’re just happy Princess Rih Rih is ok! Rih-Joice!!
