//Brandy Opens Up About Fake Marriage, Fatal Car Accident//

 

Brandy is featured in the new issue of Us Weekly on newsstands tomorrow and for the first time she’s opening up about how the tragic car accident she was involved in a couple years ago that left a woman dead has effected her and how she won’t let it effect her 6-year-old daughter Sy’rai.

She told the magazine:

It was a very tough time, and I still have never talked about it with Sy’rai,” she says. “I had to be a mother and stay strong for her. I’d cry when she’d go to sleep so she wouldn’t see me like that – I had a responsibility to her

She’s also revealing the reason why she lied about her non-marriage to record producer Robert Smith who is also Sy’rai’s father:

I lied because of the fear of what people would think and the pressure to be a good role model. Our relationship was very real, we just weren’t legally married.
