The American Music Awards are on the way Sunday and reheasals for the event have already begun. Day one brought out some of the year’s brightest stars like Natasha Bedingfield, Rihanna, and Chris Brown to rehearse for their big performances (though, we think Chris was just there to keep an eye on his Bajan goddess. Sexy fetuses can be sooo clingy).

Natasha has had a number of hits this year but look for her to perform her latest, “Angel.”

Rihanna will perform her 9,000th hit from Good Girl Gone Bad, “Rehab.”

Chris Brown – He’s performing too, but clearly not rehearsing in this pic. Look at his face. It just screams, “Who the hell is that guy on stage with my Rih Rih?” He later felt dumb when he realized it was the sound guy. Can’t let this happen again.

Other performers include Christina Aguilera who will open the show with a 6-song medley of hits (SWOON!), Ne-Yo, Beyonce and/or Sasha Fierce, and Alicia Keys.
