There’s never a shortage of passion when Kanye West performs his smash hit “Love Lockdown,” but lately there has been an extreme shortage of vocal talent. Auto-tune don’t fail him now!

Kanye took to the stage at the Late Show with David Letterman to perform the hit and, let’s just say, the chorus was pretty tricky for the rap star.

His new album, 808’s and Heartbreak, is in stores now and expected to make a monster debut, though, it isn’t clear yet if it will beat out Guns N Roses new album, Chinese Democracy.
