//Britney Spears Takes Her ‘Circus’ On The Road Starting March 2009//

The ‘circus’ is rolling into town. Instead of lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!) you’ll get dancing, singing, and one mega pop diva, Britney Spears (oh yeah!). The dates for her first real tour in over four years have just been announced. The trek will start in the singer’s home-state of Louisiana at the New Orleans Arena on March 3 and wrap in Rosemont, Illinois at the Allstate Arena on April 28. The Pussycat Dolls have been selected to open on the tour. Britney is touring in support of her “don’t-call-it-a-comeback” album, Circus, that hit stores today.

Like ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s last tour, most of the shows will be performed ‘in the round’ to give it each performance the ultimate circus feel. There will also be VIP experience packages available. More information on them can be found at Britney’s official site.
