Justin Timberlake and his unruly facial hair attended last night’s 23rd Annual American Cinematheque Awards. The show, honoring film icon Samuel L. Jackson, will air December 9th on AMC. Justin had excellent company with honoree Jackson, actress Sharon Stone, funny man George Lopez and Kerry Washington all attending.

Ashanti and her family were in St. Louis this week to attend the 3rd Annual Black & White Ball hosted by the singer’s rapper boyfriend Nelly. Both stars looked great. Ashanti’s little sis on the other hand…

Bad Boy singer Cassie was spotted out at the Empowerment for Africa dinner in New York. It may be time for the singer to focus on acting or modeling. Doesn’t look like her album will see the light of day for some time.

Akon was out in New York last night performing a free show presented by MySpace Music in celebration of the release of his brand new album Freedom. Also peforming was special guest and one of Neon Limelight’s favorite new artists, Shontelle. Konvict Music artist Kardinal Offishall was there, too.
