//51st Annual Grammy Nominations Announced: Lil Wayne, Coldplay And Ne-Yo Lead//

The nominations for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards were announced tonight with a live concert special that followed with the full list of all 110 categories being released online for anxious music enthusiasts. This year’s mix of nominations proved hard to guess as many critics predicted Coldplay and Alicia Keys would lead. Instead, Lil Wayne is this year’s champ with a leading eight nominations, Coldplay plays runner-up with seven, while Ne-Yo, Jay-Z, and Kanye West scored six.
