It seems like only yesterday we were wearing flip-flops and straw hats in those lazy days of summer, but alas, it’s cold and the holidays are here! Every year for the past 76 years, one huge Christmas tree (or is it “holiday tree”? Those dang liberals!) in the middle of Rockefeller Center ushered in the season with bright lights for the whole city of New York to see. Some of pop music’s darlings helped to get the holiday cheer going with performances at the lighting ceremony like Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, David Cook, and Beyonce. Check out the performances!

david cook was so amazing last night! you could really feel his emotions running through Happy Christmas song. They cut out the verse about “War is Over if you want it”…maybe the sponsors wouldn’t stand for it??
