Alicia Keys has been touring non-stop in support of her latest masterpiece As I Am. The singer performed a show in Auckland, New Zealand as part of her hugely successful As I Am World Tour. While Alicia didn’t lead the Grammy nominations as many predicted, she didn’t come up empty. She scored three more nominations she can add to her long list of Grammy nominations and wins.
 
 
 
 
Alicia’s one time touring partner and fellow touring addict John Legend performed a show in Philadelphia, PAÂ last night. John also has three Grammy nominations in common with Alicia. John received one of his nominations as a songwriter on the Estelle and Kanye West track American Boy.
Limelight Spotlight artist Gabriella Cilmi performed during the 2008 Homebake festival in her native Australia. 2009 should be a great year for the 17-year-old star as she’ll make her official US debut. I’m willing to bet good money that she’ll be all over next year’s Grammys.
