This song was ment for the chick they thought was gonna win (some dido sounding 17yr old) they never though Alex would win but she kept her head down and worked hard and won it now Simon does not know what to do with her.
She took a song that she knew nothing about, was not meant for her and that was not suited to her voice and she made it something special and full of soul.
