X Factor’s new queen Alexandra Burke was crowned not even a week ago, but she already has a video for her first single, her powerful rendition of the Leonard Cohen classic “Hallelujah.” The video is a montage of her hard journey to the top from her audition to her weeks of soul stirring performances. The single has already become Britian’s fastest selling single ever, beating out another X Factor winner…some chick named Leona Lewis. Ring a bell? This song was ment for the chick they thought was gonna win (some dido sounding 17yr old) they never though Alex would win but she kept her head down and worked hard and won it now Simon does not know what to do with her.
She took a song that she knew nothing about, was not meant for her and that was not suited to her voice and she made it something special and full of soul.
