Back it the day, I’m talking like early 90’s, it was seen as a good thing to be a “rugged” man. It’s, like, a bit before my time, but this is what my mother tells me and why would she lie!? Rough beards and unkempt hair was a sign of the ultimate male hawtness. But in a generation that worships guys wearing skinny jeans and wearing more Lip Smackers lip gloss than his girlfriend, when the rugged look started popping up on some of our fav male stars, we were a little shocked.

Kanye West was one such star taking the rugged look to heart. Only the good lord knows when the last time he combed his hair or had a decent shave was. (Some might even wonder when was the last time he washed his face.)

So, when the world’s cockiest rapper and best human being alive decided he needed to lose some of the roughness and let his pretty ass face take the attention again at Wayne Kao’s annual XMAS and birthday party to celebrate Flaunt Magazine’s 10th anniversary in LA, the world was right again. From the Louis Vuitton scarf, to the huge bow tie, Yeezy reclaimed his chicness and even topped it off with his heart-warming chipmunk smile. I likes.
