New Year’s Eve brought out many stars across the country to party it up as the ball dropped to bring in 2009. Pete and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, sans little Bronx Mowgli, brought in the new year at Las Vegas’ popular night spot, PURE. Ashlee looked adorable with her newly lightened locks.

Fergie was very busy this New Year’s. She hosted and performed at a New Year’s party at LAVO at The Venetian Resort Hotel and a pre-taped Fergie Ferg appeared on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve to announce each performer.

 

Our absolute favorite Aussie imports, The Veronicas, brought in the new year in New York City as special correspondents for MTV’s New Year’s Eve special, albeit pre-taped. 2009 should be a great year for the twin duo with their single, Untouched, finally getting the respect it deserves on the Billboard Hot 100.

 

Our #1 top male vocalist of 2008 Gavin DeGraw, singer Nick Lachey with girlfriend, former TRL VJ Vanessa Minnillo and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine & James Valentine all attended the Ciroc Vodka’s New Year’s bash in Miami, Florida.
