There are only seven days until the premiere of the eighth season of American Idol, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Sure, some of the changes has got us a little worried–less bad auditions, less audition episodes, the addition of a new judge, no Idol Gives Back (aww nuts!), and 36 contestants instead of 24 [insert huge eye-roll].
But, what can we say? It’s like a marriage of convenience; even when Idol changes its tune on us, we stay with it because, dangit, we’re just so damn comfortable with it after all these years. The changes will grow on us.
So, to celebrate the greatest time of the year (that little holiday season time has you fooled), we’re going to post some of our favorite Idol performances over the last seven seasons. Stay tuned for some good fun!
