Three big B’s are going to be rocking out for the biggest B–president-elect Barack Obama. Beyonce, Bono, and Bruce Springsteen have all been confirmed to perform at We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration At The Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC on January 18 according to Spin magazine.

Other stars lending their support and voices to the historic event include John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder, Usher, and Shakira.

The event will be free and open to the public. If you can’t make it to the event, the concert will air on HBO at 7PM via an open feed–anyone with cable will be able to tune in.

Beyonce has spoken openly about her desire to be apart of the inauguration. She told the Associated Press in November: “I can’t wait. I feel like all of us, we’re ready to do whatever we have to do. Whatever they want — if they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I’m there, and I’m ready. I’ve never been so patriotic! I’m just beyond excited.”

When you think of Taylor Swift, one word that probably never comes to mind is “edgy,” but that could all change when the country music sweetheart sheds her innocent girl image for a role on the hit CBS drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

According to Us Weekly, the 19-year-old chart-topper will play a teenage girl named Haley Jones whose family runs a shady Las Vegas motel. Her character will be followed over the course of a year, and will go through a series of changes that will have tragic consequences.

Swift is a big fan of the show, but won’t be taking the role lightly. She’ll reportedly go through a physical transformation to portray the dark role.

Expect to see Taylor’s episode in late February or early March.

Say it aint so! The American Idol match made in belt chains and stylish vest heaven is over!

Reps for season two contestant and current TV Guide channel Idol news correspondent Kimberly Caldwell have confirmed that she has ended her almost-year-long relationship with season seven champ David Cook.

“Kimberly and David ended their relationship just before the holidays,” the rep tells In Touch. ”The couple remain good friends and being very private people, appreciate their privacy at this time.”

The two began dating shortly before David was crowned the American Idol last May.
