Some of the music industry’s biggest names braved the cold in Washington DC to perform at the “We Are One” concert on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial today which kicks off the weekend long celebration of the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.
Performers at the big event include Josh Groban, who opened the concert with “My Country Tis of Thee” with Tony-award winner Heather Headley, Beyonce, who closed with “America the Beautiful,” U2, Usher, Shakira, Mary J Blige and more.
