The girl who helped ushered in America’s eight season obsession with a little show called American Idol, season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson, is set to make her glitzy comeback this spring with a new album.

The album, titled All I Ever Wanted, due out March 17, will be the follow-up to Kelly’s 2007 album, My December, which famously did not live up to the commercial success of its predecessor, Breakaway.

All I Ever Wanted will be Kelly’s return to the pop/rock sound her fans have grown accustom to hearing from the Texas native.

The first single, “My Life Would Suck Without You,” is already making an impact at radio and on the charts. It debuted last week on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 97.

Kelly’s music video for her new single will premiere on the show where she got her start tomorrow night (Wednesday, Jan. 28).
