//Taylor Hicks Performing Shows While Touring With ‘Grease’//

Taylor Hicks may be starring in the touring production of the famed musical Grease, but that’s not going to stop him from promoting his new album, The Distance, due out March 10, while he’s on the road.

The American Idol season 5 champ will perform a few headlining concerts inbetween Grease performance nights. He’ll play in Cincinnati, Baltimore, San Diego, and Los Angeles. More concerts to be added.

He’s scheduled to play the role of Teen Angel in Grease until the end of 2009.
