//Kelly Clarkson Makes Record Breaking Leap To No. 1//

After a couple weeks with a stagnant top five singles on the Billboard Hot 100, the chart finally gets some new energy in the form of Kelly Clarkson.

Clarkson’s single, “My Life Would Suck Without You,” makes a record breaking leap to No. 1 in its second week on the chart. The track rises 97-1, the biggest leap to No. 1 in the chart’s history, on the strength of 280,000 digital downloads according to Nielson SoundScan.

The song is the first offering from Clarkson’s new album, All I Ever Wanted, out March 17.

More new blood enters the top ten as The Fray’s “You Found Me” spikes 16-8. The track is the first single from the band’s self-titled sophomore effort, being released Feb. 3.

This week’s top ten singles according to Billboard:
