American Idol season 5′s third place finisher Elliott Yamin may not have claimed the big titled but he found big success of his own with his self-titled debut album and single “Wait For You,” which became a Top 20 hit for the Richmond, VA native. He’s ready to duplicate that success with the release of his as-yet-untitled album being released on May 5. The first single from the set, “Fight For Love,” just hit the internet and if it’s any indication, the album will be a soulful hit just like its predecessor. Yamin gives Ne-Yo a run for his money, singing over a smooth mid-tempo beat about the feelings he has for his lucky lady. Check it!

Elliott Yamin is definitely a charming and mild-mannered type guy, that is SURE to steal your heart away (at least mine anyway lol) with his music…Yamin is definitely a ‘breath of fresh air” to the music industry. They betta recognize!
I LOVED “Wait for You”; so passionate and refreshing…I love songs that capture the ear and keeps it. He does indeed, give Ne-Yo a run to his money (Smile) but Ne-Yo does HOLD his own :)
Also Thank You! for featuring different genres of music, instead of just ONE style of music. This generation needs to SEE more of “REAL MUSIC”, than what’s put infront of them, telling the “THIS IS HYPE & MUSIC” when it’s really just the same ole “typical cliche”.
