R&B superstar Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster-Raymond, is said to be recovering and in stable condition after “suffering complications from routine surgery” according to Usher’s publicist Simone Smalls.
The news broke after Usher had to pull out of performing at music legend Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party citing “a serious family emergency.” The singer is now in Brazil with his wife.
The couple share two children: 1-year-old Usher Raymond V and 2-month-old Naveid Ely Raymond.

In some lighter news, the latest batch of Dancing With The Stars contestants were announced yesterday. Grammy-winning rapper Lil Kim and Folk/Pop singer Jewel will join the cast when the show returns to ABC in March.
Jewel will have plenty of moral support during her run on the show. Her husband, Ty Murray will also take part. The couple were married last August.
Other notable cast members include Wildboyz crazy man Steve-O and Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell.
